Wilderness Festival 2011
The Yaak Valley Forest Council hosted their 8th annual Wilderness Festival on Saturday July 30th at Northwest Music in Troy. Local favorite Alan Lane kicked off the Jamfest and was accompanied by Frank Chiaverini on mandolin and electric guitar. Yaak locals The Meadow Blasters kept the music going and that sent folks to the dance-floor. The event was attended by about 60 people and a great time was had by all. The Yaak Valley Forest Council would like to thank all of those who attended this year’s celebration of Wilderness, Recreation, and Restoration.
